Goal Setting,

2017 In A Bit 🎉😄

2016 has been amazing,  it will be a warp in less than 48 hours and we'll be counting another 365 days... How amazing?!😃😆
While some persons are grateful for 2016 because of all that they achieved this year, others are wondering how the year went so fast and trying to point out one thing that they achieved. So unfortunate. 😖
In life you either plan to avoid total failure or fail to plan and then fail completely.
Another year is almost here to continue working hard and smart inline with your purpose from where you stopped or to start working inline with your purpose if you haven't started at all.
If you decide to fold your hands, relax and not make proper preparation for the New Year,  you will be surprise at the way the year will turn out to be without focus and direction.
In order to walk into this year like a Boss that is ready to Take Charge - You have to "Set Goals" and have "Action plans".

I am sure this term isn't new to you at all and you most likely would  have read and heard a lot about it. To this effect I will give you five profound tips you need in order to set Goals that are werealistic and workable.

√ Your goals should be inline with your passion and purpose, it makes it easier for you to achieve them.

√ Don't set so many goals, it is advisable to set one (1) powerful  goals in eight (8) areas of your life. This eight areas varies,  it could include Finance, Relationship, Family, Academics,  Career and Business, Personal Development and Recreation & Health. You can create your own 8 areas,  according to what matters to you and your stage in life.

√ Your Goals must be SMART- Specific, Measurable, Action Oriented, Realistic and Time bound.

√ Your Goal must be wooing and attractive.. It must have the ability to pull you because of your great passion for it.

√ Finally,  write your goal in PAST Tense.

Write your future goals for 2017, merge past achievements with future goals like this👇
This is 2017 and I made my first One million Naira just the way I passed my WACE and the way I won the Best Mentee of the year in 2016. I did great business deals and I made my first million.
Write the expressions you received from friends and family and others when you achieved that goal, write what has changed after achieving that goal. Be expressive.
When your goals have more benefits, you will have a compelling reason to achieve it.

Thanks a lot for reading, don't forget to like,  share and comment.

How the idea of blogging came about:
So I have been writing for over a year now and I just never considered opening a blog because I thouught it was too much responsibility. So I write basically for fun, to inspire and impact lives . While writing down my goals for this year, I decided to include blogging as part of it. I kept on writing and posting on different social media platforms and on a friend's blog. I got really nice comments and critics too (which I appreciate a lot). Later on I started getting questions from friends and some very big Egbons like "What's your blog address?" "Where can I get more of your stuffs to read" etc and when I tell them I don't have a blog yet, I get responses like "Why?", "You should create one".....So Voila...  Here it is 
So apart from the constant requests from readers. I have also had to cage some of my ideas because I wanted to stick to writing short articles on different social media platforms.
I have also gotten questions from friends and folks about how I get to know about events, how I voulunteer and other event related questions, and I can't keep telling everyone about every event (I have even lost count of those that asked), I will just post it here while you read it and you become aware of any event.
